1.Pogo Pin (Contact):

.Base Material: Brass (good conductivity, formability).

.Plating: 5µ" Min Gold (Au) over 60-100µ" Nickel (Ni).

.Validation: Excellent corrosion resistance (Ni underplate blocks Cu diffusion, Au top layer provides low contact resistance and oxidation resistance). Meets harsh environment requirements. ROHS/REACH compliant.

2.Housing:

.Material: White HTN +30% Glass Fiber (GF) or LCP. UL94 V-0.

.Validation: High-temperature resistance, excellent dimensional stability (GF), superior chemical resistance (LCP). UL94 V-0 ensures flame retardancy. Critical for safety and severe environments.

3.Magnet:

.Material: NdFeB (Neodymium Iron Boron), Grade N52. Plating: Nickel (Ni).

.Validation: N52 offers the highest magnetic energy product commercially available (strongest pull force). Ni plating provides basic corrosion protection. Note: For extreme salt spray, epoxy coating over Ni is often recommended for NdFeB.

4.Cable & Jacketing:

.Cable: Black OD 3.5mm, 2 Conductors (2C), TC65 (Tinned Copper) 0.08mm stranding.

.Wire Jacket & Connector Jacket: White TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer), 90A Shore Hardness.

.Validation: TPE 90A offers excellent flexibility, chemical resistance, and sealing. TC65 wire provides good solderability and corrosion resistance. OD 3.5mm suitable for compact devices.

1.Spring Force: 70g ±20g at 1.0mm working stroke.

.Validation: Standard force range for reliable contact. ±20g tolerance is acceptable but monitor consistency in production (affects contact pressure).

2.Stroke:

.Working Stroke: 1.0mm (Normal compressed position during operation).

.Full Stroke: 1.2mm (Maximum compression before damage).

.Validation: Adequate travel for compensation and wear. ~20% overtravel protects the spring.

3.Mechanical Life: 10,000 cycles Min.

.Validation: Standard commercial/industrial rating. Achievable with proper spring design/material (e.g., high-cycle spring steel).

How Magnetic Connectors Work?

.Both sides magnetically connect when placed in proximity to each other
.Light at the back of plug indicates power is flowing
.When the sides are pulled apart, power flow stops immediately
.They avoid short circuits as the connectors repel each other, and if they attract it is on the insulated parts (as both connectors free the same magnetic pole)
